Owl Baby

Well this afternoon we found a great horned owl nest with one baby inside peering out at us. The owlet was tucked down behind the tree branches so I could not see very much of the little guy.
I only stayed for a minute to grab a quick blip then left. I knew mom was nearby and I don't want to make her nervous or get the baby unnecessarily frightened.
I may check back in a week or so to see if the youngster is bigger and maybe see more of it sticking up from the nest.
