Cardiff city centre.

As the conference didn't start until lunch time we took the chance of a wander round the city doing a little sight seeing.  Never having visited the city before I was impressed.  There is a pleasing mix between old and new buildings, plenty of pedestrianised space and at that time of day no crowds.

There were many photo opportunities and I had difficulty deciding on which shot to use.  In the end this one won but I don't know why it just appealed to me.

The it was off down to the Millennium centre to register and collect our conference documents.
