A warm welcome

This doorway has meant a lot to many, many people over the roughly 300 years it has been opening and closing to inhabitants and visitors.

This family has only had the privilege of tenure for the most recent half century, and it was younger son's happy sigh as we turned into the driveway and approached the door that led to thoughts of earlier owners and visitors.
