In The Shadow Of The Trees

That's how I spent far too much of this morning's golf round. These old favourites in front of the 13th green were among the few I missed.

This afternoon I had to take our son Chris to an appointment with an eye specialist: the optician had spotted something unusual at the back of his eyes during his last check up; as we suspected, it turned out to be scar tissue from the toxoplasmosis he had as a toddler and nothing to worry about. Because the eye drops they use during the examination blur the vision, he wasn't allowed to drive himself.
