A Shrub with No Name

I'm afraid this is my norm for a Tuesday - an emergency shot from somewhere nearby - this time in the garden. This is about the only fresh air I got today, if you discount walking to and from the car. 
I don't even remember the name of this plant, but it is extremely pretty. Sadly, the flowers are only there for a short period, and then that's it again for another year. 
Hopefully one of you knowledgeable Blippers will be able to tell me what this is.
