Day 7 - Czeching out Prague

Apologies for the pun. This morning we left Poland and set off for Prague in the Czech Republic. Another good drive, mixed up weather this morning but this afternoon the sun broke through and by mid afternoon we were in the beautful city of Prague. Annie had booked us on a Segway tour of the city. We had an excellent guide and spent nearly three ours bombing around the North side of the city in the upper areas with amazing views across to the old city area (panorama shot here). Standing on a Segway looks ridiculous but once you're on it you realise how easy it is and how fast you get around, perfect for today. Annie didn't want to leave hers behind at the end of the tour.

We walked back across the famous Charles Bridge to look more closely at the old city and find something to eat. It really is a beautiful place and somewhere we will visit again with more time to explore in the future.

The blip is the Charles Bridge looking back at the Lobkowicz Palace if I've managed to get my bearings right.
