Doune Castle

We often have a short walk at Doune Castle, usually on dull wet days when the castle is less than photogenic. Today however it was set against superb blue morning skies and we explored it with Fraser. 
The American TV production of Outlander was filmed here and this has increased the visitor numbers substantially. Older blippers might associate it with the film "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"
