It's all in the mind

Being lazy and short of time I took the paraglider up the hill. Nicely thermic but, again, muddling my head with two emotions: fun and anxiety. I can't fly a pg in thermic conditions without feeling that any minute I'm going to be tied to a bag of washing in free fall. I know it's not that likely (and it wasn't even rough today) but it does take the edge off it. I'll have to put it down to lack of practice because it's too much fun hearing that vario chirruping away to not do it.
