Peacock

A lovely surprise to spot this gorgeous Peacock butterfly while dog walking today. I had been mulling over the beautiful celandines, the pussy willow, and other blossom just bursting out. I don't recall the peacock butterfly as being very common, but I think it has overtaken the dear old red admiral.

Just a fraction of a second to take a snap with the phone, before it silkily fluttered away.
