Japanese Paeonia

You can just see the huge bud getting ready to flower . The tree paeonia is also in bud. The suffruticosa are just showing their leaves above the soil. It seems like everything is good to go with lots of green now and little cushion shaped mounds in the borders. Out for lunch today then visited my neighbours on the way home.
Pricked out some Amaranthus seedlings and sowed some scabious Black Knight. Hoping to get a good gardening day tomorrow and to sow some vegetables. First, though, I will have to make some cake using some of the 36 eggs my neighbour gave me.
