Galileo Rocks!

I am more excited about this picture than any other. Have you ever taken one and it showed up something you weren't expecting to see? I got excited enough see Jupiter and the four inner moons with a telescope, but the moons are just spots of light. Imagine how I felt when six turned up tonight!

This is a view that truly changed our view of the Universe. Galileo made sketches of Jupiter and its four inner moons and how the pattern changed. He realised that the only explanation was that the moons were orbiting Jupiter and not Earth and that landed him with a house arrest lasting him the rest of his life.

Will have to find Saturn sometime.
