Lichen

Enjoying the rain we had overnight.
Adding on to this after some questions about whether these were spores on the lichen. Might be is the answer or they might be algae and their spores. Lichen don't live on their own they always live in symbiosis with something else usually an algae. They can live in extreme conditions. They are natures pioneers as they live in an area first followed by other plants. A wide variety and looking different depending on the conditions. Some quite colourful.
