Bull Creek Aviation Museum

Took G 3, 4 and 5 to the aviation museum today. This is an absolutely awesome museum and each time we visit, the volunteers who work tirelessly to restore these aircraft, have achieved the impossible! G3, 4 and 5 had a great time, especially when they got to sit in and 'fly' this little aeroplane and a small helicopter alongside. This little plane holds a very special place in Western Australia's history. Robyn Miller was a nurse/pilot who flew polio vaccinations (administered in sugar cubes) into remote aboriginal communities in the far north of Western Australia in the 1960s, so the mission kids called her The Sugar Bird Lady! Tragically she died in her early thirties. She was also the daughter of Horrie Miller, one of the founders of MMA which was a forerunner for QANTAS airways.
