Today's the day .................... to watch like a hawk

Isn't he beautiful?

You might know him better as a male kestrel but I don't think he would be particularly bothered either way.  He posed on his high perch up in the trees, surveying everything that moved below, long enough for me to get this shot of him.

Such a regal-looking bird and a real treat to see him .......................
