Then and Now... not quite

On this lovely sunny evening I decided to go in search of another shot for my Then and Now project (modern day shots to compare with photos of London my grandfather took in the 1930s).

I always find it difficult to be sure I've found the right viewpoint, especially when many of the buildings in the original shot aren't there anymore. There have been a few occasions when I've got home and compared the images on screen and realised they didn't quite match. Today was one of those days. 

So this is a backup shot I took so I'd have something to blip if I didn't like the comparison shots! And I'll have to go back next week for another attempt...
