Village victory

I spent today with one of my other hats on, Show Secretary of the Horticultural Society in the village I used to live in. A great if long day- I'm the one with the keys who opens up the village hall at 7:30, and although entries are from 8, there is always someone banging on the door at around 7:45, which continues til 11, when judging starts, then a quick lunch before we admit the public at 2:30 until 4 when prize giving starts, locking up after5. This is the prize winning entry for the Inter Village floral art competition which a neighbouring village won this year.
