Quite a change..

from the still, warm weather we have been having.  Today the sand was tearing down the street gathering in dunes around the car wheels and the sea was crashing over the pier at half tide.. the rain came in heavy bursts with snow and wind that wanted to rip the skin from your face.  My hair is full of sand, the windscreen of the car is being sandblasted so I have turned it round.. and now I am wondering what will happen to the cloth roof of my car.. it is filling with sand as it appears to be made more like an aertex shirt and made of layered fabric.  Hopefully a long run at high speed on the motorway will sort it out tomorrow.. already planning when I can come back again..
