I had a lovely evening with S yesterday. We went to the pub, intending to have something to eat there, but they were so busy that we had another drink and then called at the chippy instead.  Of course I paid for it all with tiredness on having to get up at 4.45am to work my first ever Saturday shift, but never mind.  Tomorrow we are off to the Peak district to walk... somewhere, I've no idea, but it doesn't matter.

In other news I've just cooked myself a big slab of sirloin steak for tea.  Now I'm not really a steak eater, it's not something I'd usually order if eating out and I've very rarely cooked it.  But I was in Iceland earlier, it looked nice and I went for it.  Tasty.
