Ec....., nope it doesn't work, it was only agony.

Went up North-er for the day with Matt to join the Mackem hoards, "with hope in our hearts" to see the occasionally mighty Sunderland.

As our team ran out we sang "Wise men say, only fools rush in", we should have known, one of those days where all the wise men were on the terraces and only fools rushing in on the pitch.... 4-1 defeat (and that flattered!)

"Mind you it could be worse" one disconsolate dad said to his heartbroken small boy - "you might have been born a Newcastle Supporter".

Perhaps some latin lessons for the players and then reading the motto on the crest of the shirt - "in pursuit of excellence".
