bee or fly?

To be a bee, or not to be a bee, that is the question! ...the answer is that it is a bee-fly! This little chap is a Large bee-fly, bombylius major, which Jackie spotted while we were working in her garden today. It's a nectar feeding insect that is a bee mimic.
