Competition

This cardinal was not happy with the image of the male cardinal he saw in the mirror.  He started attacking my car right after I parked at the Norfolk Botanical Garden this morning.  Happily both bird and car survived MULTIPLE attacks…

Lots to see in the gardens today.  Warblers, sparrows, thrashers, towhees, pileated woodpeckers…Tulips, daffodils….My favorite area was the fern garden.  I almost blipped one of a frond about to unfurl…might have to go back tomorrow so can share...
