Indigo Babies

This piece of street art can be found underneath a bridge at the bottom of Park Street. It's also underneath a relatively famous Banksy (the naked man dangling outside a window ledge).

We found this on a treasure hunt that the boys were doing around central Bristol. They are trying to build up hours for their Children's University passports. If you have children between 5 and 14 you should have a look. It's a great idea and increasingly well supported. If they are 15 or over they can help out as volunteers. I have no vested interest save for the fact that I'm trying to introduce it at my school!

Anyway the treasure hunt revealed to me that pedestrian crossings have knurled knobs under the button that rotate when it's safe to cross. You learn something new every day.

We passed a vintage/classic car in Queen's Square. Lots of middle aged men looking under bonnets. Impressively clean and tidy cars, mind. Everything from Ford Escorts to a Jaguar with a big whale tail.

Last day of the holidays, I suppose.

Reading an interesting book entitled, 'Happiness by Design'. Happiness = Pleasure + Purposefulness.

Will report back...
