Just about perfect

This morning's walk around Clumber lake was a milestone for me - it was so like the walks I have had with Lucy in the past. The ones I loved and was missing so much.

I was more relaxed with letting Daisy off the lead today. I didn't panic if I couldn't see her for a few seconds, I knew she couldn't go far as the walk is bounded by the lake and fenced fields.

I just strolled on in the sunshine with the birds singing and Daisy dashing around, getting wet and muddy and exited - just like Lucy used to.

A blissful, sunny spring morning with a happy dog in the beautiful countryside. Priceless.
