Bleached Peas

New residents in Frederickberg park. I'm no orthodontist but I don't think these are peacocks, as the feathers ain't right.

A dark and overcast day today made this shot a bit easier, as I was able to under expose massively to catch any definition on the birds. I also focused manually because autofocus struggles with white on white at this distance. Then, because they were under some trees, they stood out like this. I finished off in CS6 with Silver Effex but no vignette was used - just contrast, structure and tone.

I have to say, ...I'm a little bit pleased with how this turned out.
