DAFFODILS

I much prefer to leave daffodils to dance their pretty waltzes in the breeze. However, today I found that a number of stems had succumbed to the might of the night wind - rather than leave them on the ground, I picked them and popped them in a jug. A few hours later and the 'daffys' had perked up, making the sitting room a brighter place - a blip of the fine flowers!
