Shale strata from shale oil extraction

Out to visit my mum today first time in a while and they have started using the nearby bing as road construction material so exposing the strata in the spoil piles , one day there will be none left , ironic considering fracking is the modern version of this old method , incredible views from the top of tarbrax bing!!
