Ratte

In summer the markets in Provence, sell some very tasty little funny shaped potatoes called " rattes".
Our dear friend A sent for some tubers, and very kindly gave us some to plant in bags.
They are now chitting in the kitchen window, to plant out next week.
Wet and windy today, so decided not to go for a walk.
Plan was to sort out some cupboards, but mr C's brother rang to see if we would like to meet them for tea and cakes.
Needless to say we said Yes, and so we have just come back from a very enjoyable afternoon spent at Salts Mill.

I think the weather is going to improve again next week.
