Cocktails at the Renaissance

This evening I helped Clare celebrate her birthday in style with a cocktail at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London. She looked stunning, oozing a timeless elegance befitting of the beautiful interiors at the hotel. We moved on to a party with many familiar faces where the topics for discussion were, amongst other things; politics, 'Why men like bi*ches' (the book - I might read it now), house buying, suicide rates at certain universities and dance weekenders. Bed at 3am two nights in a row, surely that makes me officially hardcore?
