Barter Bookstore

It was pouring with rain on the trip home today so we stopped for a browse in one of our favourite places - 'Barter Books' in Alnwick. I love the layout of the shelves and the signs with quotes and after I'd taken this photo I realised there were layers ...in the shelves and books and signs. We bought 2 second hand costume books for Hannah and had lunch there after browsing for about an hour. It's always hard to drag N out of a bookshop!
Back home now after a lovely weekend ...and I've still a week of holiday to go!
