Village pond ducks

Today we went to visit an old family friend, who studied at the same university college where my daughter is currently doing a part time degree alongside a busy full-time job. It was interesting listening to the two of them, two generations apart, discussing their compared experiences.

These ducks by the village pond caught my eye on the way home. How lovely the light is on these bright spring days.
