Rosslyn Chapel has it's own resident mouser, known as William after the chapel's founder, though I must point out that he actually lives in the village, his real owners don't call him William and he spends most of his time sleeping. But he does turn up most mornings in time for his second breakfast and enjoys much attention from both the staff and visitors. He has  become quite famous in his own right, is the subject of many photographs and is even included in the Roslin panel of The Great Scottish Tapestry.
