Autumn ... Walking by the Clutha River

Eleven hardy souls met to go walking this morning, even though snow was in the forecast.  We went to Stevenson Road (below the airport at Luggate), and walked down the true right of the Clutha River, through the yellow willows and poplars.  When we saw the rain coming we headed back to the cars, stopping in a sheltered area for lunch.  In the last half hour of the walk we all got wet!  A nice hot drink at a local café warmed us up.  Snow still in the forecast, we'll see the result in the morning.
