Zeppelin

Hard to believe that Zeppelins were ever used in war, sloth-like beasties that they are.

This is on Farringdon Road, on the aptly named Zeppelin Building. Behind it is the Drill Hall, probable target for the bombs. It survived, but the building by the street didn't.

I usually look up, beyond the first floor to get the history of the building. This plaque is at foot level. Sometimes it's okay to look down.
