Still Life

Another bird shot from Frederiksberg park. 


I think this is a good example of hyper focal distance and how to (not) work it (although I hope to be corrected if I'm wrong). Here I totally forgot and focused directly on the bird which has shortened the DOF to a few centimetres, even though I'm up at f/8. If I had focused a meter or so in front, more of the shot would be crisp. It works like this but I noticed it could have been different.
