Auf Wiedersehen Pet!

Today we took an excursion over to La Gomera which is a tiny island 20 km off the coast of Tenerife. We traveled around La Gomera in a small convoy of 4x4s. We ended up in a jeep with all German holiday makers and an Italian/German/ Spanish driver so our linguistic skills were put to the test but we all seemed to connect in a Eurovision type style.
Anyway the roads on the wee island are not the best and the lack of any suspension in the 4x4 meant our puddings  got seriously shoogled along the way.
But it was a great day and La Gomera is such a beautiful place full of amazing contrasting scenery. We also got to hear the amazing whistling language of the locals who can send a message right around the island within 6 minutes by whistling the message.
