Cairngorm charmer

When you train in bad weather and say "it could be like this on the day", this is what you're training for.

Today was the Cairngorm Charmer, a 12 mile duathlon starting at the ski car-park in Coire Cas. The route descends for 4 miles to the car park at Loch Morlich where you get on your bike and do a 4 mile route through the forest, then it's a run back up to the carpark. There were 120 mile gusts of wind and driving rain that made the whole thing extra-challenging!

It was a great day out anyway, well organised and good fun.
