Takahe

Went to Motutapu Island today as part of a group from work doing our volunteer day. Lots of weeding and eating lunch with nice views over the sea.
We were lucky enough to see this group of 4 Takahe, which included one of the first chick's ever born on the island. There are only around 200 in existence and 20 of them are on Motutapu.
