Coming Down.....

This is the Old Police Station in Aylesbury, part of which apparently has succumbed to demolition. See it here before they started :

There was a plea to save it by petition but this obviously failed. There are substantial works taking place here in future in order to create an unrequired temporary car park. The building to the rear of the "Nick" (part of Old County Offices) is also coming down. The reason I say that it is not required is because I parked in the car park next to the theatre today & there were 20 cars in it !

Another fine sunny day.

A number of little jobs to tackle today; the tyres need checking on the car, the garage door needs adjusting and the lawn needs mowing. I think then that we will be ready to go (almost)
