Not what I intended

Today was supposed to have been a really good day.  It was certainly a beautiful one - weather wise.  However, it didn't turn out as planned so here is a picture of the "parrot's tree" outside my bedroom window as seen from the ground and through the fire escape for Hobbs' last Wide Angle Wednesday on the topic of "Looking Up" .  All visual metaphors intended.
