Himalayan Silver Birch

One of our pride and joys.  We had to remove a Eucalyptus a few years ago because it was too big and too close to the house.  Debated long and hard about a replacement and came up with this.  It is lovely and the finches sit on the branches waiting for their turn on the feeder and wave around.

At the end of Winter it has a definite shade of green, so this weekend will be the time for the annual wash when it will be restored to its silver white glory.  Might do a before and after.  Need to remember to avoid the cat - and that his ginger bits don't wash out!
