Peacock Butterfly on Aubretia

I was having 20 minutes sitting in the garden this morning before dashing off for my bus for Cheltenham (an Oxfam day) when this beautiful peacock butterfly landed on the glorious purple aubretia. I ran indoors for the camera and it was kind enough to flutter around for a while, drinking its fill. I took quite a few shots but I really like the way the light in this one brings out the detail on the wings.
