Best-laid schemes o' Mice an' Men Gang aft agley

This afternoon I was over in the south side of Glasgow doing some research into a lesser known Mackintosh building. On the way back on the bus, there had been a road incident near the Broomielaw and all the traffic was being diverted.

Luckily I noticed this interesting street art of Robert Burns from the bus, so quickly got off to take a few shots.

The Best-laid schemes o' Mice an' Men Gang aft agley comes from the Robert Burns' poem "To a Mouse." It means the most carefully prepared plans can often go wrong.
