Owen and I got the tin on the roof and one of the windows in. Bill And Boron are fitting new lights in the house, mainly to show off the picture I got Claire for her xmas.

I was just about to start cooking the tea (fish pie) when two old friends arrived, unlooked for. I haven't seen Topher and Jan for years - they stayed here once after a wedding in Peebles, but we were away at the time.
