Temple next door to Forbidden City, Beijing, China

The Forbidden City was too busy and crazy with tour parties, and with the heat, I wasn't in the mood to battle with the crowds, so we popped into the temple and gardens next to the Forbidden City instead. It was so tranquil there. And we turned a corner and saw this surreal sight of couples having pre-wedding photos taken.
