Lest we forget

On April 25 in just over a week we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Anzac Day

On the Abrolhos Islands in Western Australia the celebration will start with a dawn service at the school on Pigeon Island

After that tradition has it that all the boats in the area, their guests, the crayfishermen and their crews descend onto West Island

After the traditional playing of the last post all and sundry will partake in the best of spirits in a game of two up.

In a weeks time this monument to a lone Anzac bugle player will be accompanied by hundreds enjoying the life and freedom that the Anzacs fought for and gave us, and our generations

In the background is the two up ring which will see lots of eager tossers backing heads or tails
