Day at a Time

Camellia

We've had a pink camellia at the back door for years. It's very reliable and just now it's covered in flowers. It's cheery, but maybe a bit riotous and indiscreet whereas this Camellia × williamsii 'Jury's Yellow' is more understated. It's in a pot and was planted a year or two ago. It's doing well with glossy dark green leaves as well as the flowers. Both camellias seem to like our back garden.

Another morning wrestling with the writing but I think it's finally going somewhere ( and not just the bin). What a palaver. Into a video meeting this afternoon - just now it's lunchtime and I'm enjoying the spring sunshine.
