NYC Saturday

Some days it's so hard to pick a blip! (yes, and, admittedly, some days it's hard to think of one). The day actually started yesterday night at a jazz bar in Williamsburg - where we found out that the singer of the band in fact used to live in ...Groningen! Then this morning we set out for a Saturday brunch and a spring walk through Central Park on to some shopping. After dinner we explored the nightlife of East Village, with as a highlight the 'Back room Bar', a well hidden bar still serving its alcoholic beverages in stone cups, just like it did during the roaring twenties when alcohol was prohibited.
