Back at St James hospital

We were asked to be there at ten am, and we managed that, even though we had to negotiate traffic into Leeds (mum had been awake from 4am worrying)!  Then there was no bed for her when we arrived, so we sat, went for another blood-test, because the hospital could't access the results of the Pontefract blood-test done last Wednesday and then sat some more.  Eventually, after lunch, we were taken up to the ward above where they had a single room for her.  Unfortunately by then it was too late for them to do the procedure so she's scheduled for this morning.  She had been hoping to be all done and allowed to come home in the one day - now it looks as though it might be two nights (a break for us, but not what she would have wanted).  My sister is going this morning to be with her while they carry out the procedure.  Hopefully all will go well.
