So very very happy!

We were sitting playing a game in the boat when Aidan spotted a fish on the line....and in two ticks he was out by the rods and had it before anyone else. He played it really well and was so excited to land a nice fat trout.
And not long later we had another strike...he let his Mum bring that one in, and it was a little bigger than his!

It was the end of a really nice day on the lake, lunch and swimming by the hot stream and fishing on the way home. Did a hot smoke of the trout for entree....beautiful
