Back in Manchester...

What a difference a day makes! Only yesterday the Albert Memorial looked like this! Now its all clean and tidy - still quite a large police presence - even guarding the doors to prevent a re-occurrence of Wednesday's forced entry (I like the chap on his mobile phone, just done a bit of shopping and in a world of his own :) ).  Hardly any protesters left now - outnumbered by the police.  On a less serious note, just look at the magnificent hibiscus in our road - always a joy to see it each year - really cheers me up!
